WOYWW 18th June

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog

Well after watching a fair few videos on YouTube about storage for craft rooms, I thought I'd see what containers I had that could be utilised.

This little Washi Tape holder is made using two hard plastic boxes that I've had since Christmas (they had Ferrero Rocher in, which are long gone:))

I have only used double sided foam tape, but will glue it eventually.

It stands on one lid and then the two boxes are stuck together on top, with the other lid as a little dish on them.

I hope you all have a fab WOYWW.

  1. Those boxes are so useful aren't they. Your tape looks lovely in them.

  2. the clear plastic, combined with the colorful ribbons is a beautiful combination!

  3. Lisa, I have loads more Washi Tape, so once I have glued them, I'll put my favourite ones in it.

Hazel, I love finding non crafting things, that can be used and i hate throwing things like that away.

  4. Very clever idea, Sue, thanks for sharing! I have all my washi on a wooden stand that was a gift and the rest in a basket. It's starting to be a pain pawing through the basket every time, but counter space is an issue. We are always evolving in our craft spaces, aren't we?! Happy WOYWW and have a wonderful week! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Darnell, I have two wooden racks with my Washi Tape and Ribbons on, but wanted to get the ones i use more often near to my desk.

We certainly do evolve. When I started crafting I had one small box for everything, now that box just has spare containers.

  6. great use of the boxes, and fun emptying them, no doubt! Happy WOYWW Helen 11

  7. Helen, Actually I was disappointed. they weren't ads nice as I remembered them to be. For a while they brought out mint ones. i'd love to try them, but not seem then.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  8. FUN containers, all that washi looks so bright and pretty in them!!!

    Happy woyww!
