WOYWW 8th October

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

I have three cards to show you, all for swaps.

This first one had to be distressed in some way, so I chose tearing the three backing papers.  The little embellishment is a ewe and the wording says Hello Ewe!

This swap had the them Funny Christmas.  I used a topper I got in a swap.  The eyes move:)  I used two backing papers and some Washi tape.

This card's theme was Friendship.  I used two backing papers and then stamped out the sentiment.  I also smudged the edge of the text card with ink.

Well I hope you all have a lovely WOYWW.

  1. I like your sheepy card very much, it really made me smile! Tearing the paper gives a great effect, I think.
You're right about all that wool making a throw, I think I am going to do something along those lines to use it up!!
    Hugs, LLJ 20 xx
Ps. Do you ever need any items for your greyhound charity? Give us a shout if you do xx

  4. Sue, I love your cards. I think the first is my favorite. The colors work so well and the patterns...my favorites! FYI, yup that's a duckling on my desk. He sat on my work desk for years, when I retired he came home with me. When I get stumped for what to create, I hold him and he helps break the block. I have to be careful though....if I squeeze him he quacks and that brings the other 4 legged kids running to see what's going on. Happy Wednesday!

  5. LLJ, Thank you. That one is my favourite out of the three.

That's really kind of you. I don't know anyone who raises money by selling things. I tend to send money from some of my eBay items.

    RobynO, Thank you.

    Shaz, Thank you.

Mary, Thank you. So, has the duckling got a name? Polly likes the sound of a quacking duckling:)
