  1. Fantastic card, Sue! I like the before and after photos - I did not expect the flourish to be placed where it was, and the rounded edges on your layers are fabulous for the "rounded" theme on your card. Great birthday card! hugs, de

  9. It must have been so amazing to have lived when women dressed like that to go out. Now I barely throw a clean top on with my jeans! Your card is fantastic, Sue, and really captures the sensual elegance of times gone by! Happy Holiday Hugs! Darnell (too busy to WOYWW again today, alas.)

  10. Love this lady with her cloche hat, and I'm with Donna E, I didn't expect the flourish where you placed it either. And it looks great! Love the super sophisticated color scheme too. Put me in mind of the 30's flappers (not that I know of them personally! Just from tv shows). Lovely card. Well done. TFS

  19. Hi Sue, I hope you found out what 'flappers' were! (and they were young ladies too, since I don't know what Google may have given as a definition. My Mama was a flapper in the early 20's and we have a picture of her in a hat like your stamped image!). Thanks for your wishes for a safe trip. I'll try to share some pictures if our grand greys if they will cooperate with the camera! Merry Christmas & thanks for your visit & comment. Hugs
