Well look what Polly and I got.  Freya and her mum awarded it to us.  You can find out about adorable Freya at  http://catflapcavalier.blogspot.co.uk/

I now have to pass it on to 7 bloggers.  All my lovely Followers deserve it, so I put the names in a bowl and picked 7 out.

http://greyhoundscansit.com/  Here you will find out about Beautiful Beryl, Fabulous Frankie and Awesome Asher.

http://whatremainsnow.com/  Lori has three beautiful Greyhounds Casper, Freedom and Nikki.

http://suzyssanctuary.blogspot.co.uk/  With nine dogs Sue has her very own pack:)

http://doggoneright.blogspot.co.uk/  A beautiful Greyhound called Gwyn.

http://talesandtails.com/  This blog has the wonderful Search & Rescue dog Kuster, Morgan and two stunning Greyhounds Bunny and Flattery.

http://genjiscorner.blogspot.co.uk/  Even through the sadness of  recently saying goodbye to Stella as she left for The Bridge, the love for their remaining animals helped them keep going.

http://www.declansdogsblog.co.uk/  Declan, or Nephew as we call him (he's related to my Polly) is a handsome lad.  Polly and I got to meet him and his two mums last year.  Hoping to meet up again this year.

For those that wish to accept the award, please pass it on to 7 more blogs.

WOYWW 26th March

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

On my desk I have ten Easter cards I made last week.  Eight were made using Toppers I received in swaps.  The two ducks in the rain was a card I received.  I cut the Topper off.  The last one of the little girl with the watering can,  is an image I printed off and coloured in.

I also have this card, which was for a swap.  It had to be a 'single layer' card with Spring flowers.  I used a stencil.

Hope you all have a lovely WOYW Wednesday.

You need to pause the blog music (top left), if you want to hear the sound on the videos.

Today was sunny, but by heck the temps were down and the wind made it even colder.  As you can see Polly found a sheltered sunny spot in dad's garden.

Albe wanted to be in his own little film, but he got stage fright:)

Hope you've had a nice start to the week.

Don't forget to hug your hound/s.

Yesterday I was over at my dad's.  As the grass was dry and Polly hasn't limped for months, I let Polly off lead in the garden.  At first she was happy to just wander round.  When I called her to come in, she looked up at me.  I knew what was about to happen.  She's not done zoomies for over three months, as the vet said to keep her on the lead for at least that long.

Well she took off full pelt.  After two laps (dad has a large garden), she slowed to a run for the next couple of laps.  She then came in panting and flopped down exhausted.  Think she'll need to build her stamina up.  She was so happy:)

Had worried she might be limping this morning, but she's fine.

Hope you and your fur babies are all doing ok.  Don't forget to give you hound/s a hug.

Wednesday 12th March - WOYWW

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

Today (well to be honest it was Monday) I have the makings ready for some Toppers and two cards for a swap.

The Toppers theme was Easter.

This card is for a swap and the theme was Blue.

I used a beautiful Topper I had received in a previous swap.

This card's theme is Easter and is for a swap as well.

I used various bits from a lovely Easter card I received last year.

Hope you all have a lovely WOYW Wednesday.

WOYWW 5th March

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

I have been sorting through my ribbons.  I have a lot of ribbons.  Oddments of a reasonable length get put on this rack below.  I use bulldog clips to hold the ribbons.

I got the racks below from a seller on Ebay.  I have ribbons and Washi Tape on them.  When I want to use them I move them over onto my desk.

Here I have on my desk two more containers with ribbons.

Here I have wound ribbon onto a Dolly Peg.  The ribbon does unravel sometimes, so I am wondering what I can use to stop this.  Any ideas?

Hope you all have a fab WOYW Wednesday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Polly

I thought I had put this on yesterday, but it's not showing.

Happy 7th Birthday Polly.

Saturday, 1 March 2014

Well I hope you have all had a good week and have a nice weekend ahead.

We have sea mist, or Haar as it's known round here, rolling in.  It's a degree or two warmer than yesterday, mainly due to the wind having eased off a lot.

Here's Polly in her bed.  These three photos were taken only about 20 minutes apart.  She does like to use all of the bed:)

Don't forget to hug your hound/s.
