WOYWW 14th January, 2015

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

All I have on my desk today are the makings for some birthday cards, a get well card and four toppers.  The first photo is the beginnings of a project for a swap, where I have to use the stamp that was sent to me.  Haven't made my mind up yet exactly what I will make.

Happy WOYWW.

  2. That's how I usually make my cards, too. One stamp and some different colours to make the cards varied.

  3. Looks like you have the hard part done already! :D You'll whip up those pretty cards in no time. How fun to make a card using someone else's stamp - very interesting!

    Happy Crafting!

  9. Cute stamps and colouring! Whata great idea to send someone a stamp to create something with! Are sending the stamp on to somebody or do you get to keep it? Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #47

  10. I'm curious about the stamp that came in a swap...do you send it back after using it?

  11. Bridget, That image was sent to me by a friend and I've used her a lot.

Horace, I know people have their own ways of doing things, but I've always found it easier to get the main bits together and then sort out the sentiment and ribbons.

Jeannie, The little clear stamp is brand new. Everyone who takes part in this swap got a stamp, but they are not all the same.

LLJ, Thank you. I am thinking I might make a bookmark and have the verse 'One Swallow does not a summer make'.

Shel, Sorry I got you guessing about the stamp:) It's most definitely not Superman:)

Lucy, Thank you. Next weeks WOYWW should see them finished.

    Laura, Thank you.

Honey is showing her mischievous side already. She seems to like my things, rather than the many dog toys in here. So far nothing has got more than a good mouthing:)

Polly says of course she's your favourite;)

houndstooth, Having to stay close to home whilst Honey settles means I have had plenty of time.

    Zsuzsa, Thank you.

Actually I don't know, so I have just asked.

Hazel, As I said to Zsuzsa I don't know, but i think we keep them.

  14. Julia, It is a very pretty stamp. Thank you, I usually do get them all sorted before putting them together.

Donna, Thank you. I always try and get the card, backing papers and elements in a reasonable order. I try and pick out one or two colours and go from there.

  16. Looks like you have enough to keep you busy for awhile. I often just color up a few images to use later, coloring is like relaxing therapy for me. Enjoy.

  17. Anne, Thank you. Will get them done for next weeks WOYWW.

Sue, I like to colour as well. Guess it takes me back to when I was a kid, as I loved colouring:)

  20. Some cute cards in the works. Those are such sweet images. Bet the dorggies will love playing in all the cold white snow. Don't think my grands have ever had anything but rain. They love to go in the pool though. DD recently found that Ossie could float, when he fell in some weeks ago, and started to swim before she could get him out. Most greys can't swim because they don't have enough body fat. At least that's what I'm told! Now he loves walking in the water..he never would go in the pool before falling in, even when he saw the other 2 playing. Happy wkend. We have sunshine 1st time all week. Hugs & TFS

  21. MaryH, Thank you.

Never had a Greyhound that played in the snow. Usually if there's snow on the ground they want to do a quick walk and get back indoors.

Agree about Greyhounds not having much fat, so they can't insulate themselves to cold or hot weather. Didn't know about them not swimming though.

    Enjoy your sunshine.
