WOYWW 21st January, 2015

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

These four Toppers were for a swap where the theme was monochrome.  We had to use white or cream and one other colours.

I made this bookmark for a swap where we got sent a stamp and had to use it.  I got this lovely bird, which I think is a Swallow.  The text says, One Swallow does not a summer make.

This is one of the cards now made up that I showed last WOYWW.

This is another of the cards from last weeks WOYWW now made up.

Hope you have a happy WOYWW.

  10. Your toppers are fabulous, Miss Sue! Love the colors you have chosen in the monochromatic theme - and of course, your darling little girl cards are the sweetest ever!

I am beginning some therapy on my shoulder - I caught a cold on Jan 10, and the coughing triggered the myofascia issues in my shoulder, so have not been able to sit at my puter much. So glad I could stop by this evening and see what you have been up to!

  14. When I saw the swallow, I thought of their grace and beauty, and that they were the greyhounds of the bird world!

  15. Loved seeing how the images of your previous WOYWW share turned into. That little girl was so cute, and it was fun to see how the different colorings changed up the personality of each card. Loved your bookmarks too. It's wonderful you could take the provided stamp (and that's a beautiful bird too) and create something so pretty to look at, plus useful as well. Hope the sub-zero temps are going away by now. I'm playing catchup once again! TFS & Hugs

  16. Hazel, That's very poetic, but you are right.

MaryH, Thank you. The image was sent to me a long time ago and it's the one I use the most. Thank you for your kind comment about the bookmark. I actually felt it lacked something. Temps even colder here and set to stay like it for a few days more.
