WOYWW 7th January

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

On my desk are three cards I made by just stamping Greyhounds onto a white card.

I hope you all have a happy WOYWW.

  2. Oh those are fun, Sue! I bet they'll go like hot cakes. It's good to see a doggy card that isn't twee but elegant instead :-)

  5. That's a wonderful stamp! Sometimes that's all you need for a great card! I like greyhounds, they'so timid, bless them, and some of them look painfully thin, but I know they're supposed to be like that. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #27

  9. Thanks Laura.

LLJ, Thank you. I made them to use like notelets and they each had a little gift inside for my friends who had lost their dogs.

    Jill, Thank you.

    Cindy, Thanks very much.

zsuzsa, You would rarely see an overweight Greyhound. Their legs just couldn't take it.

    gyeong, Go for it:)

    Donna, Thank you.

  17. Hi, Sue, happy WOYWW and happy 2015! I like the minimalist look of your greyhounds and the variation in the ink (can't tell if it's two different inks or if the larger image is stamped off once.) ~ Laura #65

  18. Laura, Thank you. I didn't put much ink of the bigger Greyhounds and then did the small ones with more ink, but the ink is the same kind.

  19. Lovely cards! I agree with Lunchlady Jan in that it's good to see a doggie card that's not twee. Most people like greyhounds so I'm sure they will be a success.
    Have a great week,

  20. Lisca, Thank you for your kind comments. I don't usually sell my cards. I sometimes make a few up as a little gift for someone.

  21. Love your cards. I'm guessing you have a greyhound or more... Your lucky to be able to find stamps with the dog you have, we have a border terrier, and haven't run into any such stamps yet :( happy WOYWW!

  23. My greyhounds would look good on card too! Where did you get those stamps?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hazel, I got the stamps made for me by an Ebay seller. Their ID is customrubber.

The large one was £12, the medium £9 and the small £7. i had to supply the image and they made them up for me.
