WOYWW 13th May

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog

This is the table I use as an extension to my desk.  The crafting magazine is there to remind me the next issue out has some lovely free oriental stamps.

Here are some of the cards I showed you previously, but now they have a bit to them.  They still need more, so maybe they'll be done for next week.

Happy WOYWW.

  1. Morning Sue! Beautiful card designs and beautiful colours - particularly like the poppy and the mandela style ones. Happy WOYWW, Cindy #47

  2. Lovely set of cards, lovely bright colours too, the square one looks like a tile.
    Have a great weekend

  4. Great WOYWW thanks for sharing xx Jan (54)

  5. Oooh, I love Oriental things, so I hope you get those free stamps! Some of those cards you made look like Minton tiles, they're really lovely and and a real change. Like them lots!!
    Hugs, LLJ 18 xxx

  6. That is a gorgeous mandala it! Thanks for sharing :) Shel @ PaperOcotilloStudio

  7. Cindy, Thank you very much. I enjoyed trying something different with the Mandalas.

Jan, Thank you. I thought that about the square one:)

Anyoldcraft, Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Jan, Thanks for leaving a comment.

LLJ, It's touch and go with Tesco whether they have the same magazines in each week, but hopefully I can get it somewhere.

    Thanks for your lovely comment.

    ShelC, Thanks for your comment.

  8. What a variety of styles you have on this WOYWW post! So pretty, each one. Loving the bright colors & designs on the mandelas...which I've never tried (I was burnt out just trying my one very simple Zentangle!) I LOVE these. Also enjoyed seeing the pretty floral images. They just make me happy! On the greyhounds, do you belong to the Rescue group for the Greys? Our DD does and is quite involved. Being a Foster Mom is how she ended up keeping 2 of the ones she's had. Just couldn't say goodbye when the time came. TFS & hugs

  9. Very pretty cards. Have a good woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 34

  10. MaryH, Thank you.

My Greyhounds all came from the Retired Greyhound Trust and they don't do membership as such. A lot of people get involved with fund raising, meet and greet events and the various get togethers. Now I have a car I will be able to join in more. In fact Sunday I am going to a Greyhound walk for dogs rehomed from the branch of the RGT I got Honey from. I know a lot of fosterers fail and end up keeping the dogs:)

    Angela, Thank you.

  11. Love your cards, they remind me of the old fashioned tiles you used to get in vintage properties, I can't remember what they are called there is a special name for them. Certainly a good memory for me. Thanks for sharing your space and art.

    Hugs Eliza & Yoda 67

  12. Sue, here in the States, prospective adoption families have to be screened quit rigorously, but sometimes things happen, and they decide the grey is not keepable. The one DD got, was from a youngster who went off to college, and his parents didn't want the responsibility. It was in another state, so Reilly was brought to the area where DD lives. Reilly is a sweetheart, but unfortunately, I'm allergic to her! Yet not to her sister Dallas, whom they got as a small puppy. Reilly was over a year when she came to live. It's good that organizations take such interest in the dogs, else they would be destroyed.

  13. Eliza, Thank you.

MaryH, Usually it's the same here with screening prospective adoption owners for Greyhounds. Strange you are allergic to Reilly, but not his sister.

  14. Yes, it is odd. My allergist has no clue either. Maybe I got used to the puppy over time, and whatever it is about these 2. With Reilly being grown when she came to live, don't know if that comes into play. My shots seemed to have helped some, but I'm still careful to not pet these 2 girls. And with the other 2 dogs - I don't pet if Dallas & Reilly can see it. Ossie (the old fella) is my favorite of all she's had. He's a real gentleman. Last phone call this week, he's still hanging in there. She said he still has good times. Don't know if this is 'denial', but hoping it is fact. He's a sweetie, and is very reserved. He's definitely DD's dog. He likes me, so I must smell & sound somewhat like she does. He just tolerates the rest of the family. Have a good week. Hope the weather is better in your area. Some of my UK friends are having gray & rainy damp. HHugs

  15. Busy, busy. Pretty cards all, some really detailed designs. Very pretty.

  16. MaryH, Hope your daughter can put Ossie's first and although we know how hard it is, the kindest act you can do is to let them go.

Supposed to rain most of today and thunder storms this afternoon.
