WOYWW 15th July

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

Not much going on here.

I have on my desk three Zen colouring books and a set of new Staedtler, which were on offer at half price.

Also you can see the start of gubbins to make a card for a swap where the theme is Sizzling.

Hope you have a happy WOYWW.

  1. I bought a colouring book on holiday and have enjoyed doing some of it. I have only got felt top pens though, are those Steadler pencils and are they better?

  2. I have one of those colouring books as well but I have discovered when I started colouring that I haven't really got enough colours. I must go and buy one of those enormous packs of feltpens for children with 20 odd different colours. That should keep me out of mischief for a while.
    Have a great week,

  3. I can't pass up a deal like half price for craft supplies and those zen books look like a fabulous idea. #22

  6. LLJ, I prefer felt tips. For some things I prefer pencils and the Staedtler ones are fine, although I have heard water pencils are best as you can blend them.

Lisca, The cheap felt tips tend to run out quickly. I've just ordered some better ones, as my Whispers and Le Plumes are all coming to the end of their life now.

Hope you are kept out of mischief;)

Belinda, I needed some more pens, but at half price it ewould have been rude not to get some:)

    Barb, Thank you.

    Donna, I hope so;)

  7. Such a very tidy desk! And some cool new toys to enjoy as well. I was looking for my Zen how-to books last evening! Glad you're having a good Wednesday and Hello to the girls. Bet they are fast asleep. TFS & Hugs

  8. I like the colouring books but feel they may eat away at the ink in my pens, think I need some cheap felt tips. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 30

  10. MaryH, You were right, the girls were sleeping.

I am very tidy and like everything in it's place.

Angela, I have found that some of the books have paper that eats the ink, but some have shiny pages and they don't. Trouble with chap pens is they run out quicker than the more expensive ones anyway.

April, Still plenty of colouring and the next issue comes out soon.

    Girls were in their beds.
