WOYWW 12th August

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

This is a card I made for a swap, where the theme was Peel Offs.  I put the flower peel offs on the backing card and then coloured them in.

Hope you have a happy WOYWW.

  1. Interestingly, they don't look like peel offs at all, now you've coloured them in and out them on that funky background! Nice card, really bright and cheery :-)
Thanks for dropping by...Ron is a lovely cat, he always keeps me company!

  9. Lovely card! I don't know what I would do for a swap like that, I don't think I have even one peel-off! Although they are lovely on a card! Thanks for sharing! Lindart #45

  11. LLJ, Thank you. I rarely use peel offs, but I was very pleased with the result.

Julia, Thank you. Agree about flowers always being a safe bet:)

    Charlie, Thank you.

    Lynsey, Thank you.

    Soojay, Thank you.

Mariane, Thank you. I felt the backing card really made the card.

Shaz, I'm the same, although most of my peel offs came from a friend. They really need using up, so hope to use more.

    Fuzzie Fingers, Thank you.

Lindart, Had I not had any peel offs, I would have not been able to take part in the swap.

    Thank you.

April, You also snuck in when I was replying to earlier comments:)

Thank you. It wasn't till I coloured the peel offs that I felt they stood out enough.

Anne, Thank you. I'll certainly be colouring them in from now on.

Angela, Thanks. Maybe we should start a challenge to make at least one project a week using peel offs.

Mary, Thank you. Thanks for going to the previous post as well.

I am following your blog, so every time you update I will be there to leave a comment.

Darnel, Thank you. Hope you have a good day.

  21. Brilliant use of the peeloffs, and they certainly did NOT look like outline stickers. That beautiful background worked perfectly with the floral outlines, and is so very attractive. Thanks for this idea, because I have tons of outline stickers...TFS & Happy wkend. Pats to the girls.
