WOYWW 19th August

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

I keep seeing pens on offer.  This limited edition of Sharpies was £13, but reduced to £8 in Tescos.  I love Sharpies, but they are so inky they do bleed through the paper.

Hope you have a happy WOYWW.

  3. HI Sue, my DIL spotted the Sharpies on sale a couple of weeks ago, so I popped in and got some too. I just got a couple of packs of the black ones though. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5 xxx

  4. I'm a sucker for a good marker sale, but I'm going to try and resist this one considering I already have enough markers to open a Marker Store! Looks like you do, too, Sue! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Sandra de, Thanks for stopping by.

    Robyn, Thanks.

Shaz, I have boxes of red and black ones, but the other coloured ones are lovely. This is the best set I have seen so far.

Darnell, I get through my pens now I am into the Zen colouring.

  9. Tertia, I've not seen this set before. It is a limited edition.

    Donna, Thanks for stopping by.

    Soojay, They are fab pens.

April, Haven't got them out of the box yet, as I am using up my old pens. One by one they are drying up, so won't be long before I start using these.

  12. Kat, I must admit that Sharpies are my favourite as they are so versatile.

Angela, Think they will sell out quickly, especially at the lower price.

  13. Good buy! Perhaps if you do a c/s piece and then trim to fit your card base, the bleeding won't be a problem? Looks like some lovely colors in your set too. Looking forward to seeing what you create with this set. Have a great afternoon. TFS & Hugs

  14. Mary, Thanks for the advice. It's more that the ink bleeds through the paper to the back, which in the colouring books means the next page takes the ink. I have got round that by a board behind the page I am working on.

    You have a fab Friday.

  15. I think that's a good price for such a big pack of felt pens. I don't have any Sharpies so I couldn't comment on that.
    Have a good week,

  16. Sharpies are great but I got a set of Staedtler Triplus felt tips in WH Smiths the other day and they are bright and don't bleed through my colouring pages at all!

  18. Thanks for sharing on my recent Grocery blog post, Sue! Your Morrison's sounds wonderful! I enjoy seeing all the new things in the grocery, but it does surprise me at how many prepared foods there are! I'm sure they are time savers for many people. Thanks again! hugs, de

  20. Donna, There are a lot of prepared and frozen foods in our shops. Think a lot of working people use them. I have a few things in my freezer as a back up.

    Michelle, Thanks for stopping by.
