Oxburgh Hall, Norfolk

My brother and sil came up for a couple of days and we went to Oxburgh Hall on Saturday afternoon.  It's run by the National Trust and as they were members they got in for free.  It cost me £8.90 for the grounds and hall.

Here is a link to the web site about Oxburgh Hall.

Here are the few photos I took.  My batteries were running out and I hadn't taken spares.

Hope you are having a good day.

Sorry for not posting or visiting blogs recently, but I have been battling Vertigo and it's been triggering Migraines.

  4. Thanks for sharing pics of your visit. Would so love to see this place..looks just like some of the sites I see on the Brit shows. Since I probably will never get there to see IRL, I enjoy seeing these lovely places shared on blogs! Glad you had a chance to have a wonderful afternoon at such a scenic place, with your loved ones. Hugs

  6. What a neat place! We saw a lot of places that looked like that while in the UK. So neat to have them in your back 'yard'. Beautiful!

  7. Trina, If there's one thing this country has in abundance it's old places:) In this county of Norfolk we also have a lot of history to do with WW11 as there were a lot of air bases here. Due to that we also had a lot of Americans here. many a tale is still told about the handsome Americans:)

  10. Oh my word Sue, poor you..the vertigo is a horrid horrid thing, I sure hope its passing now. Oxburgh looks lovely, but was nearly a tenner OK? I wax and wane with the NT prices!

About the photos I use to scrapbook...I order them from snapfish mostly, sometimes Photobox. I cannot replicate the quality by printing at home, even though we have a good printer that's designed to print photos. I also can't prove it, but I don't believe that printer could do the same quantity for the price.....I've got 18 photos and four collages pics coming... It cost £5.80 including postage and only took me an hour and.....no swear words!!!

  11. Julia, If I wanted to go to loads of NT places, it is definitely worth becoming a member. That's the first NT place I've been for over 10 years. I was surprised with the prices in the shop as they were pretty good, as were the prices for the small restaurant.

Thanks for the info about getting photos printed. I will have a look at Photobox, as that looks very reasonable.
