WOYWW 20th January

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

All I have this week is a card I made for a friend.  The background paper is from a page of my Zen colouring book.  It's fun to colour the pages and even better when they can be used like this.

Happy WOYWW

  2. Oh, I agree about using up the colouring pages! It makes a great background :-) that card is very pretty indeed. I'm determined to make a couple more things and then send off a parcel with a variety of different items. Hope they'll be useful!

  3. Morning Sue!! I received 3 colouring books for Christmas. Interestingly, I find colouring does not calm me down at all. I really cant justify the time spent colouring pages unless I can see a use for them. So its stress stress stress for me all the way as they sit there accusingly and I really have no interest in doing it. Unfortunately were bought by very close members of family so don't feel I can get rid of them But they will be vetoed for next year!!In total they cost around £35 - I would really rather have had a new stamp set LOL. Well done you for using yours! Happy WOYWW Cindy xx # 29

  8. Linda, Thank you.

    LLJ, Thank you very much.

    You are a star.

Cindy, By heck, they were expensive books. I buy ones around £3 off eBay. I know some are lot more, but there are a fair amount around the £5 mark.

I do the colouring whilst watching TV in the evening.

Bridget, Glad you have another idea for using the colouring pages now.

    Zo, Thanks.

    Shaz, Thank you.

Sharon, Thanks. My friend loves to mix up colours of what she wears, so she loves bright cards.

  10. WTGo in using your coloring book page as a background. I had never thought of what these pages would work for, as the books I've seen, the designs are so large (and I don't scrapbook). This is pretty and like the dimensional flower! (BTW, Dallas has ulcers & irritable bowel disease. She's taking Prilosec and eating a special food.) TFS

  15. I love the backing paper did you use your new pens to colour it? Hope you are liking them

  16. Di, No, I used some Staedtler ones for the backing papers. I am still trying to get use to the other pens.
