WOYWW 25th May, 2016

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

A beaded bracelet I made.  Not on my desk, but hope you don't mind me sharing it.

This is my desk a few minutes ago.

A card made using one of the Toppers below.

Two Toppers.  The one on the left made the card above.

Happy WOYWW

  7. Anne, Thank you.

I tend to go back a little after first getting my number, as it often changes:)

LLJ, No need to thank me. I love seeing your blog and are always envious of the beautiful projects you make.

I have made the odd beaded piece of jewellery in the past. The last things I made were the beaded memory wire bracelets. My friend Julie learnt beading whilst on holiday in Spain and she has been doing beading at her craft mornings, as all the ladies are happy to give it a go. We have made bracelets and I have moved on to a beaded bauble cover. If I stopped going wrong and having to back track, I would have it finished by now. At the moment Julie is having the crafts mornings every two weeks, so hope to finally get it finished next time.

Jackie, Thanks. Oh yes purple is my favourite colour:)

Lisca, Thanks. Hope you stay in your purple phase for a while:)

Twiglet, Thank you. You haven't left your number, but I will try and find you to check out your blog.

Sharon, Thank you for your kind comments. I have made the odd jewellery pieces for years, but this bracelet is only recent.

  19. It feels like it's been forever since I visited you. In fact, I would have been by sooner, but not long after I was finally able to link up, my electricity went out for over 12 hours due to thunderstorms that knocked the power out. Now it seems my internet is having a meltdown, and I have to reboot after each person I visit and leave a comment to.

That is a gorgeous bracelet and your card and toppers are beautiful. Happy 7th Anniversary from # 5.

  22. Hello Sue, I'm sorry I haven’t managed to comment earlier, once again life got in the way! However, I have promised myself to get round all the desks this week to celebrate our 7 years of WOYWW friendship - so here I am. The bracelet is beautiful and your card is lovely. I like your toppers too. Have a great weekend, Elizabeth x #66

  24. Beautiful beaded bracelet and cards, Sue! I noticed the keyboard and the remedy you have for worn-away keys! Keyboards really are very inexpensive at Amazon so I got a new one and this time I covered the keys with clear fingernail polish. Time will tell if that works or not. If not, I'll be doing what you did! Enjoy the long weekend! Hugs, Darnell

  25. Darnell, Thank you.

That's a good idea for the keyboard. My keyboard is a Logitech, which Dell actually recommended over their own one. I have to re-do the white stickers with the letters about every two months. I'll see if putting clear nail polish on them will make them last longer.

Hope the room is all sorted now.

So many deskers to get round, I could never visit them all on Wednesday. Always nice to have a response whenever.
