WOYWW 10th August, 2016

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

Today on my desk I have the finished card that I showed the gubbins of last WOYWW.

I may change it, as I don't think the pennant under the sentiment is the right scale.

Happy WOYWW.

  1. I am sure the card will be perfect if you change it or leave it! Happy WOYWW Helen #1

  2. Do you know, Sue, I agree with you - the pennant could be smaller only because it's obscuring the pretty paper underneath it. Can you unstick things without doing too much damage? I'd be worried about tearing your lovely work!

  5. It's so great to make something out of gubbins. Sorry, I just love that you used that word, because I'd never used it or seen it until your post last week. Such a fun word!!! I really like the doily on this. Blessings for a great WOYWW and terrific week! LisaDV #28

  8. April, Thank you.

Lynne, No I don't paint. Always wanted to do watercolours, but I surprised myself at just how bad I was at it:)

LisaDV, Thank you. The doily is actually a die cut that I got in a swap ages ago.

Margaret, thanks. You are right. I have removed the pennant and now need to sort out what to put there instead.

    Lillian, Thank you.

LLJ, I have now removed the pennant, but need to sort out something to go there with the sentiment.

    Helen, Thank you.

  13. Beautiful, Sue! I love the pink and black combination and never remember to use it on my cards. Wonderful layers and shapes, too! I hope your weather has improved. Thinking of you fondly. xo

  14. Donna, Thank you. The colours I used were dictated by the various shapes I needed.

Weather has been changeable to say the least. Supposed to have a couple of very hot days this week.

  15. I am forever unsticking and redoing before I am happy. I try to lay the card all out first, but sometimes once it is put together, I still need to change it........ugh..........Love the pink white and black combo and the different shapes you chose.

    Hugs
    Sue

  16. Sue, I always lay mine out before sticking, but this time it wasn't till it was all stuck down that I didn't like it. Still I have done a smaller pennant and that's better.
