WOYWW 24th August, 2016

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog

On my desk today I have the gubbins for 4 new cards and one card already finished, apart from needing the sentiment on the front and an insert.

Still needs a sentiment on the front and an insert.

  1. That's a pretty card filled with lots of yummy treats
    Happy WOYWW hugs Nikki 6

  2. what a very pretty card! happy WOYWW Helen #1

  3. I quite often leave sentiments off cards and then have a card for any occasion - just needs a sentiment when it is necessary to send the card off.
A lovely card, such pretty delicate colours - and more in the making!
    Hugs, Neet 11 xx

  4. Happy WOYWW. A busy desk and a pretty card. Ali x #12

  5. Love the way you've put your card together with the ribbon and little buttons and the picture is so sweet!

  6. I love that word 'tub bins' describes it perfectly, Elaine no. 15

  7. Gubbins is what I meant!

  8. How pretty your card is, and how organized you are to have each card layed out with the matching ribbon, etc. I am a fly by my seat of my pants type person and make a card as I go! So funny, my friend won't start until she has it all planned out beforehand. I just get something out and start playing. Not the ideal way, I know. Happy WOYWW! #33

  9. How about "Another year, my how time flies". Beautiful card.
    Chris P #26

  10. Nice card Sue, I often wait till I need to send the card before adding the sentiment. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #3xxx

  11. Finally some clutter! LOL Love the card - those cupcakes are adorable. Give the girls a hug.
    April (haven't posted yet)

  12. Mmm, lots of ribbon and lace :D

  13. Sue what a lovely card! I hope you share the rest of this set with us when you are done! Happy WOYWW from Scrapbook Lynne #37

  14. Hi Sue, you look really organised for your card making. hope we get to see them finished. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 16

  15. Short and sweet today Sue! Love the card, very fresh looking!

    Morti #42

  16. Morti, Thank you.

Angela, Thanks. You will see the other four cards.

Lynne, Thank you. I put the others up.

    Laura, Yep, that's me ribbons:)

    April, Thank you.

Girls say thanks for the hugs.

Shaz, Thanks. I tend to make up cards with a certain person in mind, but often end up with more than one suitable one, so leave the sentiment off till I have picked the one I want.

ChrisP, Time seems to be going quicker the older I get:)

Sharon, Thanks. I like to have the gubbins all together and then make the card up.

Elaine, Glad you like 'gubbins':) I use the word a lot.

    Lynne, Thank you.

    AliWade, Thank you.

    Neet, Thank you.

    Helen, Thank you.

    NikkiC, Thank you.

  17. Just got your message - hope you are ok (re missing Wednesday)
    Sending love
    Neet xxx

  18. Hi Neet, Bless you for coming back and leaving your kind comment.

My stay in hospital was completely unexpected, but at least they found the problem and got it sorted, or at least on the way to being sorted.

  19. Oh pretty card colours, I do love how you pull the gubbins together before you make a card, it makes the haphazard way I decide on things look really silly!

  20. Julia, Thanks. I've always done it like that. I usually have in mind what I want on the front and start with a topper, or I make up a topper. then find the backing paper and card. Last is the ribbon, buttons and or any other finishing touches.

  21. Looks like you were busy. Love the blue and sweet image on your card.

  22. Sue, Thank you.
