Polly's 4th Gotcha Day & My Heart Scan

Just a quick post to let you know I had my heart scan yesterday (Wednesday 14th September) and my heart is completely fine.

Not sure how the condition got onto my notes, but I do not have it.  Consultant said he will do a report that will go in my notes to confirm it was a mis-diagnosis and that my heart is completely fine.

Thanks for all your well wishes.

It's Polly's 4th Gotcha Day.  Love the old girl (she'll be 10 on 1st March, 2017) more each day.

  1. Happy Gotcha Day Polly!
So glad you are okay, that must have been quite a scary moment when you found that out, only to find it was a mistake.

  3. Lynne, I was pretty sure it was a mistake, as the condition they said I had you are born with and need an op when a baby.

    April, Thanks.

The girls say thanks for the hugs.

  6. Glad to hear the heart problem was a records mistake (which is scary enough in itself when it happens, but it does!) At least now you don't have the worry of heart problems. Happy Bday to Miss Polly. Another one of our grands is having problems, not sure yet how serious things are. TFS & have a great week.

  7. MaryH, Thanks.

Not Polly's birthday, but her Gotcha Day. Her birthday is 1st March.

Hope your daughters dog will be ok.

    1. Nope, she wasn't. But she's gone to the Rainbow Bridge, so I'm glad the suffering didn't linger. Thanks for the good wishes, though. DD said the other 2 are missing her, as she was always the leader.

  8. I love that you celebrate Gotcha days, Sue! Fantastic idea! What a relief to hear the good news regarding your heart! It's times like these that we are happy to hear it was a misdiagnosis, right! Celebrate all weekend! XXOO

  9. Donna, When you don't know a dogs birthday, the Gotcha Day is a good substitute. I know the birthdays for my girls, as their information is on the Greyhound Database.

Yes, great news about my heart.
