WOYWW 26th October, 2016

Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workbench Wednesday).  If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

My desk this morning, with the gubbins of the card below.  The card is for a swap where the theme was Grey with one other colours.

I have left it blank of sentiment, so my swap recipient can use it.

Happy WOYWW.

  1. Oooh, what an elegant card - grey and pink go together so well! I'm sure your swap partner will love it too. I'm glad you liked the bandanas, honestly, they were so quick to make, if your greyhound ladies wanted more, I could use up lots of my stash..it really didn't take much fabric. I've made seven and want to hear if they're the right size before making anymore, I can always alter the pattern :-D

  2. Hi Sue, lovely card. I often don't add a sentiment when i make cards, so I can use them for any reason I need at the time. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz xxx #1

  3. Jan, Thank you.

Glad Debbie from the RGT kennels contacted you. A lot of Greyhound owners do put bandanas on their dogs, so I am sure they will go down well. Thanks again for being so kind.

Shaz, Thank you. I sometimes do that, but when I do a card for a swap I don't put a sentiment on it, unless that is part of the theme.

  4. That's a very pretty card. It's nice that you left the sentiment blank - what a good idea. The colours go together well.

  8. Such a tidy desk! Love the bold pink flower...looks so dimensional - with the clean layout & subtle background colors. That flower takes center stage and is a star! Many times I do not add a sentiment until I'm ready to use a card. TFS

  9. Very stylish card Sue. I often leave sentiments off cards until I know what I need then put them on when I know who they are going to. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 20

  12. April, Thanks.

    Hope, Thank you.

I use the word 'gubbins' a lot, so you will get use to it if you visit me.

    Angela, Thank you.

Most cards I make as I need them and have one person in mind for it. If I am just making cards to stock up my supply, I leave the sentiment until I am sending it out. When I do cards for swaps, I don't always put the sentiment on, so the recipient can do it.

MaryH, Thank you. I was sent the flower, along with some more of diferent colours in a swap and have had them for ages. As soon as I saw the theme for the swap, I thought of the flowers.

    Laurie, Thank you.

You didn't put your number, but I tracked you down to #53

    Helen, Thank you.

    Lynne, Thanks.

    SharonK, Thank you.
