Recharging Our Batteries

When you have had a busy week, there's nothing better than recharging your batteries.

My girls are very good at doing just that.

Here's Honey

Polly showing how it should be done.  This is known as roaching.

We hope you have a lovely weekend.

  1. They look like they are very comfy. Have a great weekend.

  2. April, It doesn't take much for my girls to be comfy:)

  3. They are so cute the way you cover them up with blankets, Sue! I can't even imagine being able to tuck my dog in like that LOL cute as can be! xo

  4. Donna, They both like to be covered by a blanket. they have,me well trained:) LOL

  5. Love the dogs all snuggled up, Stanley has a blanket on our sofa and 9 times out of ten he is under it with just his bum hanging out, funny how greys like to be covered up - enjoy your week

  6. Nicky, Mine tend to have their nose just showing.

Hope you have a good week.

  7. These pups have the right approach to life! I'd never heard the term roaching until I encountered it here! It's quite an abandoned sort of pose, isn't it?! Hope your weekend was as good as the girls' was! TFS & Hgus

  8. MaryH, Often when they roach their tail will flop over, giving a little bit of modesty. Honey had to have her tail off, so she just let's everything hang out:) LOL

    1. I don't think our granddogs know the word modesty. And they both still have their tails...Dallas had some problems with hers for a while, but they didn't have to amputate it. She still misses her sister a good bit. Ogee is not as much of a companion to her, as Reilly was. If you saw one, the other was sure to be right there as well. Hugs.

    2. Mary, I think it's just by chance that the tail flops over:) LOL

It is sad when they loose a pack member.

  9. They sure do know how to chill! All warm and cozy. Have a great week, Sue.

  10. Sue, Even on warmer days they still like the blankets over them. Think it's because Greyhounds don't have hardly any fat, so they can't keep warm as easily as other dogs. It works the same with getting too hot as well.
