Beauty Sleep

As you know my girls, like most Greyhounds, take there beauty sleep very seriously.  On average they sleep for 16 hours a day.

Polly says being an elderly dog (she's 10) she has to take it easy whenever possible, which seems to be most of the time.

Honey (who is 6) goes along with Polly and is happy to take a nap any time.

We hope you are having a lovely Easter.

  1. Happy Easter right back to you & these most intelligent ladies. I think they have the right idea. Stress & work(or in their case, activity!) - very aging!!! Hugs & pats all round. TFS

  3. Naps are good! Our GSD also sleeps a lot between his busy activities. I wish I could nap during the day, but it's difficult for me to fall asleep. Do you find, even with overwhelming fatigue, that sleeping is elusive? Hope you have a great week! Hugs, de

  5. Donna, I can usually fall asleep for a nap, as I don't sleep well at night. When the Fibromyalgia throws the fatigue in, I have trouble staying awake.

April, I always use to be an 8 hours or more. Now as I don't sleep well during the night, I tend to grab a nap when I can.

  7. Our dog sleeps a lot too, not 16 hours, but naps all day on and off. They sure do have the life, I often say I'm going to come back as a dog, but with my luck I'd be a homeless stray, ha ha. Hope you had a nice Easter, Sue.

    Hugs

  8. Nicky, I totally agree.

Sue, You wouldn't want to come back as a racing Greyhound either.
