Here is my WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday). If you want to know more about this weekly event, take a look at Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk
Here's my desk this morning.
This is the card I made from the gubbins in the first photo. It's for a swap where the theme is All White. I did toy with the idea of sending just a blank white card, saying it was a village in a blizzard:) LOL
Happy WOYWW.
Hi Sue, I do love white on white cards, they are so classy; love the dimension on yours. I see it is productive, messy desk week for you lol. Have a great week. Sarah #12
ReplyDeleteI love your sense of humour - blizzard card idea! Like the one you did make in the end.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet 2 xx
Happy WOYWW. Well done for creating such a lovely 'All White' card - I always struggle with that. Ali x #13
ReplyDeleteLolol - we definitely have the same sense of humour :-D I think the Snow card would be a great idea but then you wouldn't have made that glorious card, so pretty!!

Morning Sue. Love the idea of a village in a blizzard card.... but maybe, on reflection, the one you actually made is best... It's great! Well done.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hi Sue, great card. Love the all white. beautiful. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxX
ReplyDeleteGosh, this is the most untidy I've ever seen this desk! (still pretty neat by my standards!) love the elegant card, with the beautiful white floral spray. Got a chuckle from the blizzard card! Stay cozy, pats to the girls. TFS
ReplyDeleteSarah, Thank you. I luckily had a box for the card to go in.
ReplyDeleteNeet, Thank you.
Ali, Thank you. I don't mind all one colour, when you can use different shades, but it's difficult to do that with white.
Jan, Thank you.
Margaret, Thank you.
Shaz, Thank you.
MaryH, Thank you.
white on white is such an effective, elegant look - love your card! Helen #1
ReplyDeleteOh my my. That desk is a mess. I am so glad to see it. Lovely card, too.
ReplyDeleteApril #26
Helen, Thank you.
ReplyDeleteApril, Thank you.
*snort*..love that idea for a white on white! made me LOL! Your card is really lovely, really like the way you used the paper flowers behind the silk. Also, for a split second as the picture loaded, I thought you’d moved next to a window and your garden was somehow really really green. that would be the screen saver then! What a fool! Thank you for the card, what a lovely nice happy mail surprise.
ReplyDeleteA blank card would be funny, haha, happy woyww vicky#7
ReplyDeleteJulia, Thank you. Glad you liked the card.
ReplyDeleteVicky, Thanks.
Hi Sue, your desk looks busy today and love the card. Late this week as I'm still trying to get back to normal after the trip away. Have a great belated woyww, Angela x17x
ReplyDeleteAngela, Thank you. Hope you enjoyed your trip.
ReplyDeletetoo funny...village in a snow storm! That white on white is really an eyeopener for sure. Elegant. Love the desk this week! Vickie #6
ReplyDeleteYour card is stunning, Sue!! It could be carried by a bride or worn as a head piece, it's so beautiful! I've heard that before about a blank white card representing a snowstorm and I laugh out loud every time I hear it!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteVickie, Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDarnell, Thank you for your kind comments about the card.
Love your sense of humor! But this card is stunning. Love the white on white, one of my favorite cards to make. Hope you don't get snow, we are so ready for Spring here, long cold winter. Have a good week.
